Built on the tools, not in an office
Boiler Doctor Aid started because the paperwork side of gas work takes longer than the work itself. Certificates on one app, invoices on another, service dates in a diary, fault codes in a manual left in the van. This puts the lot in one place, on the phone that's already in your pocket.
What it does
- Gas safety records (CP12), warning notices and service sheets, filled in with tap-to-choose lists rather than typing everything out.
- Commercial, LPG, leisure and electrical forms for the jobs that fall outside domestic gas.
- Customers, properties and appliances kept together, so the second visit already knows the boiler.
- Service reminders set automatically from the certificate you just issued.
- Invoices prefilled from the job, sent by WhatsApp, text or email with your logo on them.
- Fault code lookup and parts search by GC number, with a diagram showing where the part sits.
- A round planner that orders the day's postcodes from where you're standing.
No signal, no problem
Plant rooms, cellars and rural jobs kill the signal. Everything can be filled in offline and saved on the phone, then it uploads itself the moment you're back in range. Your phone and laptop stay in step.
What it costs
The first month is free. After that it's £12.50 a month, or £90 if you pay for the year.
